Bereishis – “Let Us Make Man…”

When HaShem said “Let us make man…” (Bereishis 1:26, Bereishis) He was speaking to angelic forces He had already created (cf. Targum Yonasan, Ramban). Why did some of these angels oppose the creation of man, and why did HaShem first consult with them and then choose to ignore them? Based on 2Likutey Moharan 1.
