00:00 – PARAGRAPH 25b. The difference between a mortal king who lends wealth, and Hashem when He lends wealth.
04:30 – מִ֖י כָמֹ֣הוּ מוֹרֶֽה – “…who is a teacher like Him? [Hashem]” (Iyov 36:22).
05:00 – Hashem gives advance notice of His punishments because He knows the recipient can’t find a way to escape, even if forewarned.
07:30 – כָּל־ הַ֖יּוֹם חוֹנֵ֣ן וּמַלְוֶ֑ה – “All day long he is gracious and lends…” (Tehillim 37:26). The Tzaddik keeps giving a faithful person unlimited loans so the person can eventually “get on their feet”.
00:00 – Parshas Mikeitz. אָֽנֹכִי֙ אֶֽעֶרְבֶ֔נּוּ – “I will be guarantor for him…” (Bereishis 43:9, Mikeitz). Moshiach comes from shevet Yehudah and is the ultimate guarantor for Am Yisrael.

Tikkun haBris is achieved through mikveh and Tikkun HaKlali. מִכְתָּ֣ם לְדָוִ֑ד שָֽׁמְרֵ֥נִי אֵ֜֗ל – the first letters of Michtam L’Dovid spell אשלם – “I will pay”. The first letters of the next three words – כִּֽי־חָסִ֥יתִי בָֽךְ – spell חבך – “your debt”. The last word of the perek is Netzach – which is begematria “Nachman”.
***22:00 – Q&R – “Isn’t it dangerous to say the Tzaddik is the great lender?” Response: Yes, it’s dangerous. But it’s even more dangerous to leave the concept of Tzaddik out of Yiddishkeit.
24:30 – PARAGRAPH 26. Parshas Vayeishev. וַיֹּ֗אמֶר מָ֣ה הָעֵֽרָבוֹן֘ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶתֶּן־לָךְ֒ וַתֹּ֗אמֶר חֹתָֽמְךָ֙ וּפְתִילֶ֔ךָ וּמַטְּךָ֖ – “So he said, ‘What is the pledge that I should give you?’ And she said, ‘Your signet, your cloak, and the staff…'” (Bereishis 38:18, Vayeishev). Yehudah, Tamar, Er, Onan,. Tamar requested Yehudah’s seal, garment, and staff as guarantee. From this union Moshiach originated, and he is the ultimate guarantor for Am Yisrael.
