00:00 – A person who doesn’t engage in Torah study is not considered civilized.
00:52 – Someone who eats in the street is comparable to a dog.
03:08 – Livelihood: treading on bread crumbs in one’s home can cause poverty. (Pesachim 111b).
04:35 – The only thing anger achieves is illness for the one who’s habitually angry.
05:32 – The validity of a conditional marriage vow: “You are hereby sanctified to me on condition that I am a complete tzaddik” (Kiddushin 49b).

19:13 – Story of Rabbi Akiva inviting two of his students for a meal. One tried and failed to remove a cabbage leaf, so he left it. The other student was more aggressive and Rabbi Akiva scolded him. “Derech eretz (refinement of character) precedes Torah.”
