Pekudei 5773 – What is the Mishkan? (Entire Shiur)

Speaker: Rabbi Nasan Maimon. Based on Likutey Halakhos, Orach Chaim 3, Hilkhos Yom Tov 3.
00:00 – Rosh Chodesh Nissan was the day on which the mishkan (tabernacle) was dedicated and is the birthday of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov.
01:00 – “These are the details of the tabernacle…” (Parshas Pekudei) The mishkan ensures every Jew a special connection to Hashem even when we don’t have a Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
03:13 – Likutey Moharan, Torah 70. “On the eighth day” of the inauguration of the mishkan Moshe Rabbeinu presided over all the other leaders of Israel. Rosh Chodesh Nissan is the beginning of the year for kings and is the time when all levels of authority are allocated to the world.
08:00 – The tradition of traveling to Rebbe Nachman’s gravesite in Uman on Erev Rosh Chodesh Nissan.
11:27 – There are two forces in the world: koach hamoshekh (force that attracts) and koach hamakhreach (force that opposes).
