2026-02-20 – LH8 – CM2 – Perika uTeEnah 4 – Para. 23b-27 – Parshas Pinchas – Parshas Zachor – Parshas Beshalach

Perika uTeEnah 4 – Parshas PinchasParshas ZachorParshas Beshalach – Childbirth – Bnos TzelaphchadSiddur Course – Kriyas Shema al HaMitahParshas Zachor – Destroying Amalek Yad al Keis Kah – Speaker: Rabbi Nasan Maimon.
Hilkhos Perika uTeEnah 4 is based on 2Likutey Moharan 2.
00:00 – PARAGRAPH 23b. The importance of bringing children into the world in kedusha – holiness.
03:00 – Every time a child is born, he or she is something entirely different, a potential that has never existed in the world before. The birth of a child is an example of Achdus HaPashut entering the world that is not part of the external diversity of the 70 Nations.
04:00 – All members of Am Yisrael become closer to HaShem’s unity every time a Jewish child is born.
15:40 – The concepts of Hodaa, Halakha, and Holada are one, in that all three reveal the unity of HaShem within the diversity of His Creation.
07:15 – In matters of yerusha – inheritance – a son has priority over a daughter. “Isha olah imo” – when a woman marries, she is elevated to her husband’s level, b’ruchnius ubegashmius (Casubos 61).
09:00 – NOTE – in present generations, the rabbis instituted that sons and daughters inherit equally for the sake of peace.
12:00 – When there’s a health crisis, the blood rushes toward the heart. When a person emerges from a health crisis, his blood circulates more freely, especially within the feet. This process of physical crisis and recovery has spiritual aspects and relates to tzedakah.
13:50 – If a man does not produce children, his blood stays close to heart and HaShem troubles him through dinim [in order to save his life]. When a son passes away with no children, his inheritance goes to his father or uncles and aunts.
16:00 – Parshas Pinchas. Bnos Tzelaphchad.
19:00 – ***How the birth of Jewish children brings the geulah.
22:00 – The physical world is compared to the feet. Klipos of the physical world attach themselves to the feet and are constantly trying to pull a person downwards away from the consciousness of HaShem’s unity. The greatest honor to HaShem is man’s consciousness of HaShem’s unity.
25:00 – NOTE – there is a place in Gan Eden called גוף.
26:40 – Q&R about leaving inheritance to grandchildren, bypassing children.
27:15 – PARAGRAPH 25. מָה־אֱנוֹשׁ כִּי־תִזְכְּרֶנּוּ וּבֶן־אָדָם כִּי תִפְקְדֶנּוּ – “What is man that You should remember him, and the son of man that You should be mindful of him?” (Tehillim 8:5).
31:00 – ***Zera livatala, chas veshalom, brings harmful spiritual entities into the world – souls that don’t have a body. Saying Kriyas Shema al HaMitah with kavana is a tikkun for zera livatala (Pri Etz Chaim, Kriyas Shema al HaMitah).
36:00 – Q&R Why a couple can be together with kedushah throughout pregnancy and old age.
38:00 – Q&R About Jewish couples who are not shomer mitzvos.
39:00 – Tikkun HaKlali – the 10 chapters of Tehillim that Rebbe Nachman revealed as a repair for zera livatala.
40:45 – PARAGRAPH 26. אַתָּה יְהוָה לְעוֹלָם תֵּשֵׁב כִּסְאֲךָ לְדוֹר וָדוֹר – “[But] You, HaShem, remain forever; Your throne endures throughout the generations” (Eicha 5:19).
42:40 – PARAGRAPH 27. Parshas Zachor. Ki Yad al Kis Kah. The battle against Amalek is ongoing and continues from generation to generation, as in וַיֹּאמֶר כִּי־יָד עַל־כֵּסְיָהּ מִלְחָמָה לַיהוָה בַּעֲמָלֵק מִדֹּר דֹּר – “And he said, For there is a hand on the throne of HaShem, [that there shall be] a war for HaShem against Amalek from generation to generation” (Shemos 17:16).
47:00 – Closing blessings.
