וַֽיְהִי֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִ֔י קָרָ֣א משֶׁ֔ה לְאַֽהֲרֹ֖ן וּלְבָנָ֑יו וּלְזִקְנֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל – “And it was on the eighth day, that Moses summoned Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel” (Vayikra 9:1, Shemini).

18 – כַּעֲב֣וֹר ס֖וּפָה וְאֵ֣ין רָשָׁ֑ע וְ֜צַדִּ֗יק יְס֣וֹד עוֹלָֽם – “When the whirlwind passes, the wicked man is no more, but the righteous one is the foundation of the world (Mishlei 10:25). Shimshon’s riddle about the lion and honey.
*06:09 – Just as the earth has a magnetic field, so a tzaddik who humbles himself has the power to attract souls at every level.
00 – A tzaddik is called ochel – nourishment. All tzaddikim of a given generation are branches of one central Tzaddik.
10 – Blessing that streams into the world is sent from HaShem via the Tzaddik. When a person gives charity to the central Tzaddik of the generation, the donor is actually receiving.
18 – Yirmiyahu HaNavi punished those who opposed him by asking HaShem to prevent their charity from reaching worthy recipients.
55 – The Mishkan draws holiness to the place where it stands.
05 – Midrash – the Mishkan is a guarantee that HaShem is with Am Yisrael.
50 – Even when the Mishkan isn’t standing, the synagogues and yeshivas of Am Yisrael serve in its place.
23 – Parshas Pekudei: eleh pekudei hamishkan – the word Mishkan appears twice in this verse alluding to the fact that when the Mishkan is assembled, it’s operating – and and when it’s in pieces, it’s still operating.
10 – The Nassi’im – the tzaddikim of their generation – donated the wagons on which the elements of the Mishkan were transported.
00 – שֹׁכֵן עַד וְקָדוֹשׁ שְׁמוֹ מָרוֹם וְקָדוֹשׁ אֶשְׁכּוֹן וְאֶת־דַּכָּא וּשְׁפַל־רוּחַ לְהַחֲיוֹת רוּחַ שְׁפָלִים וּלְהַחֲיוֹת לֵב נִדְכָּאִים – “…’With the lofty and the holy ones I dwell, and with the crushed and humble in spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the crushed'” (Yeshayahu 57:15).
05 – All honor allocated by HaShem to people is distributed via the central Tzaddik of the generation.
