A person can generate thunder by establishing strong focus into their tefilah.This level of focus is reached by clearing extraneous thoughts from the mind.
33:20 – If the mind is stuffed with extraneous thoughts, the tefilah can’t resonate. This is similar to the sound of a musical instrument if the instrument is clogged with something so its sound can’t be heard.
34:50 – Tefilah is also strengthened when a person doesn’t have yiros nefulos – “fallen fears” – needlessly intimidation or lack of self confidence.
36:00 – גְּעַ֨ר חַיַּ֪ת קָנֶ֡ה – “Rebuke the wild animals of the swamp…” (Tehillim 68:31). These wild animals refer to Esav and Yismael.
