Many needy families that cannot afford adequate food for Shabbos approach R’ Nasan Maimon for assistance. You can do this mitzvah as a one time or weekly gift.
Your donation will be distributed by Rabbi Maimon to at least two different worthy recipients at the proper time to insure that you have fulfilled the mitzvah of Matanos l’Evyonim (Gifts to the Poor) on Purim.
“Ma’os Chitim” or “Kimchi dePischa” is a community fund established each year before Pesach. Rabbi Maimon will distribute the funds on your behalf to help worthy and needy families celebrate the holiday.
The Jewish holidays are a time of celebration but the additional expenses are difficult for needy families in our community. You can help by sponsoring a holiday food and clothing package.

The process of Pidyon Nefesh (literally “redemption of the soul”) is a method of annulling harsh decrees by requesting a righteous person to intercede in prayer on your behalf and entrusting an amount of charity to this emissary. This procedure is done for spiritual success, livelihood, fertility, marriage, health, and / or rescue from any sort of danger.
“Someone who has a sick person in his house should go to a Sage and ask him to request mercy on his behalf.” (Bava Basra 116a)
R’ Nasan Maimon and ten members of our Kollel Chatzos at the Kosel will pray for you or one of your loved ones for 40 days.
R’ Nasan Maimon will personally appoint a fitting representative from our kollel to say kaddish for the year in memory of your loved one.
