00:00 – PARAGRAPH 2b.If a man sends a messenger with a gift for a woman who lives in another place, the messenger can successfully achieve the wedding engagement for him. Similarly – we are messengers created and sent by HaShem to accomplish His mitzvos in this world. What will we tell Him in the next world about how we fulfilled the mission(s) He sent us on?
02:50 – When a person nullifies himself to HaShem’s will, the mitzvos he does are as if HaShem Himself is performing them.
05:00 – The world was created in order to give mankind free choice. Everything else in creation does not have free will.
07:00 – Explanation of ATBaSH. The first two letters in the word מצוה in ATBaSH become Yod and Hey to form the Name of HaShem.
09:00 – The goal in life is to be performing mitzvos as if HaShem is doing them.
10:30 – PARAGRAPH 3. Why are the words “And HaShem spoke to Moshe, saying…” repeated so often throughout the written Torah? The word וידר hints at the concept that HaShem Himself will be accomplishing the mitzvah. The conclusion of the phrase relates to the messenger’s part in doing the mitzvah.
