Shlomo HaMelech regretted going beyond the limits of the Torah’s mitzvos by relying on his own chokhma. וְלֹא־קָם נָבִיא עוֹד בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל כְּמֹשֶׁה אֲשֶׁר יְדָעוֹ יְהוָה פָּנִים אֶל־פָּנִים – “And there was no other prophet who arose in Israel like Moshe, whom HaShem knew face to face” (Devarim 34:10, VeZos-HaBeracha).
09:13 – “For who went up to the heavens to receive the Torah?” The entire Written and Oral Torah was given to Moshe Rabbeinu at Sinai. Therefore, it’s impossible to achieve Beirur HaMedameh through the true tzaddikim in every generation who draw from the Torah that Moshe Rabbeinu gave us.
