Kiley Begadim 2 – Para. 2b – Shatnez Permitted in Bigdei Kehuna – Clothing of the Kohen – Colors of the Sefiros Tikkun HaBris – Pride vs. Humility – Speaker: Rabbi Nasan Maimon.
Hilkhos Kiley Begadim 2 is based on 2Likutey Moharan 5.
00:00 – PARAGRAPH 2b. Colors of the Sefiros – Tikkun HaBris.
06:30 – PARAGRAPH 3. Unification of the Colors of the Sefiros – pride vs. humility. Ayin and Yesh.
10:20 – The garment of HaShem is ge’ehus – pride. HaShem’s pride and humility are one – a merging of the diverse light of the Sefirot. Left Side/Humility/Chesed/Before Creation/White, and Right Side/Holy Pride/Din/After Creation/Red. This is the state in the highest realms.
14:00 – In the physical world, pride is an aspect of false thinking. Bitul – nullification of all human desires to the ratzon HaShem – turns Yesh into Ayin – unifies “before creation” with “after creation” – thus creates peace.
18:00 – Uniting “before creation” from “after creation” results in Tikkun HaBris and the perfection of Daas. This achieves the unification of all the colors of the sefiros.
21:00 – Q&R about Tikkun HaBris and the multi-colored garment of Yosef HaTzaddik.
22:00 – Q&R about wearing shatnez causing problems in Tikkun HaBris.
24:00 – HALAKHA 3. Hilkhos Kiley Begadim 3 is based on Likutey Moharan 64. Questions from the Chalal HaPenui – Vacated Space – are forbidden to ask or to answer.
*29:00 – True knowledge cannot be found through asking questions that arise from the Chalal HaPenui, and attempting to answer those questions destroys creation by attempting to force light into the Vacated Space.
38:00 – NOTE on the kelim of HaShem’s light being an aspect of the light. Garments of HaShem. There is a kind of grasshopper that has an external shell made of the same material as the insect itself.
40:45 – NOTE about “Rabbi Nachman’s Fire” – one of the first translations of Rebbe Nachman’s works into English. It contained English translations of Likutey Moharan 282 and Likutey Moharan 64.
42:30 – Q&R of the vessel of light corresponding with the light it contains.
43:20 – PARAGRAPH 2. Shatnez – Tzemer uPishtim – it’s forbidden to mix linen and wool in the clothing we wear. Linen corresponds with Din/constriction. Wool corresponds with Chesed/kindness.
46:00 – לְבוּשֵׁ֣הּ| כִּתְלָ֣ג חִוָּ֗ר וּשְׂעַ֚ר רֵאשֵׁהּ֙ כַּֽעֲמַ֣ר נְקֵ֔א – “His clothing was as white as snow, and the hair of His head was like clean wool…” (Daniel 7:9). The Tikkunim of the Beard correspond with the 13 Attributes of Kindness and the 13 Principles for Learning Torah.
50:00 – Philosophical questions arising from a lack of emunah are an aspect of mixing Tzemer uPishtim. All those who enter into questions from the Chalal HaPnui enter its darkness and cannot get out, because HaShem’s light is not available there.
53:00 – Q&R about wearing shatnez if one isn’t aware of the mitzvah.
