00:00 – PARAGRAPH 9b. 4 Rivers flow from Eden, and their head is the Tzaddik. Disrespect for the Tzaddik is the source of disharmony in the 4 Elements, both within the individual, and throughout all worlds.
03:00 – Midrash Eichah: “They sinned with their head, ears, eyes, nose…”
12:00 – בְּרֹ֖אשׁ כָּל־חוּצֽוֹת – “…at the head of every passageway” (Eichah 4:1).
24:00 – The 4 mochin flow into the 4 Yisodos.
25:00 – 4 rivers flow from Eden: The ראש is Eden – הַֽחָכְמָ֖ה תְּחַיֶּ֥ה בְעָלֶֽיהָ – “…wisdom gives life to its possessor” (Koheles 7:12).
26:00 – From the heart, life energy flows into every part of the body. The heart is the source of a person’s midos – character traits and passions, both positive and negative. Reference to Likutey Moharan 33.
29:00 – The main challenge and goal in life is making peace between the head and heart. The tzaddik is the ראש and Am Yisrael is the heart/body. The challenge of Am Yisrael is to connect with the Tzaddik. The river that flows from Eden makes the connection between ראש and לב. This is done through לשן – speech: Torah and tefilah.
33:00 – ***The difference between Am Yisrael and the 70 Nations is לב. Both Am Yisrael and the 70 Nations have chokhma, but only Am Yisrael has a לב.
36:00 – NOTE about Shabbos Nachamu, which is tomorrow. Since the 70 Nations are heartless they are only united in one aspect: hatred of Am Yisrael. We are now making the transition from the 3 Weeks of mourning to the 7 weeks of solace.
