The Kohen Gadol is an aspect of Tzaddik Emes, as in כִּי־שִׂפְתֵי כֹהֵן יִשְׁמְרוּ־דַעַת וְתוֹרָה יְבַקְשׁוּ מִפִּיהוּ כִּי מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה־צְבָאוֹת הוּא – “For a Kohen’s lips shall guard knowledge, and teaching should be sought from his mouth, for he is a messenger of HaShem of Hosts” (Malachi 2:7).
